  • To maximize the impact of your placement, we require:

    • Have completed at least 50% of their core academic courses before starting their placement.

    • Commit to a minimum of 350 hours, with responsibilities distributed across program initiatives and administrative support.

    • Commit to a placement duration of at least 3–6 months (flexibility to accommodate academic schedules).

    • Be open to obtaining liability insurance and submitting a clear police check, if applicable.

    • Be willing to work remotely, with occasional in-person team meetings or community events, if required.

    • Be available to contribute during evenings or weekends for specific events or campaigns based on organizational needs.

  • We are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment, offering:

    • Individual Mentorship: Weekly check-ins with your designated supervisor to discuss progress, challenges, and goals.

    • Team Collaboration: Opportunities to work alongside seasoned professionals and volunteers on diverse projects.

    • Skill-Building Sessions: Monthly workshops or training tailored to enhance your professional development (e.g., advocacy training, leadership, communications).

    • Guidance and Feedback: Regular feedback to help you excel and grow during your placement.

  • Begin your journey with ANNISAA by submitting the following:

    1. A cover letter detailing your placement interests, goals, and relevant skills.

    2. Your resume or CV, highlighting academic and professional experience.

    3. A letter of approval or recommendation from your academic program supervisor.

    4. Contact information for three references (2 academic and 1 professional).
