Muslim Women Health Survey
In 2016, ANNISAA Organization of Canada, was awarded a small grant to survey Muslim women about their well-being. Research on Muslim women, particularly in the area of health, is extremely limited. Much of the literature reports on small samples which are often qualitative. This is one of the first, if not the first, large-scale quantitative data collection projects to be undertaken by an Canadian institution on the topic. The survey includes six sections: self-reported health status, health behaviors, family life, women’s health, culture and social experience, demographics and typically takes less than ten minutes to complete.
If you are a Muslim woman, please take a moment to complete the survey click on “Support Us on This Project” link on your right. All responses are completely confidential. Religious denomination (e.g. Sunni, Shia, Ismaili, Bohra, etc.) is NOT collected.
Please feel free to share this link and information with fellow Muslim women.
