Grants Officer
Foundation Team Position, 5-10 hours/week (may increase closer to deadlines )

Are you excited by the idea of navigating municipal, provincial, federal and other funding programs for events and cultural institutions to identify opportunities for ANNISAA? We’re looking for a government grants officer to help identify sources of government funding for our 365-day community. You’ll be responsible for:

  1. Working across municipal, provincial and federal government, as well as other arms-length organizations to identify funding programs aligned with ANNISAA’s mission
  2. Working across the ANNISAA core team to collect information and write grant applications
  3. Managing relationships with various granting agencies 

Director of Marketing
Core Team Position, 5-10 hours/week

Are you passionate about the world of social media and how organizations connect with the people they serve?  Join our core team as the Director of Marketing, and you’ll be responsible for increasing awareness and engagement with ANNISAA around the GTA. The responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Grow our brand awareness and following on social media channels through marketing campaigns
  2. Create and execute content for all social, email and print marketing year round
  3. Manage website content and updates 
  4. Drive awareness and promote the agency 
  5. Work to promote Women’s Health Conference and other events and programs 
  6. Manage digital projects with partners  

Network Coordinator
Core Team Position, 5-10 hours/week

We’re currently seeking an energetic and creative person to join their team as Network Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for the restructuration of our membership system, the mobilization of our network and development of strategic partnerships. The Network Coordinator will work closely in collaboration with team members to strengthen and grow our network throughout the country.

  1. Restructure, implement and manage the membership system, including individual members, girls* programs, community partners, allied organizations and donors
  2. Ensure follow up with current project partners. Build relationships, support the development of new partnerships and the growth of the national network
  3. Elaborate and implement a strategy promoting the development and visibility of our network on both national and local levels
  4. Update contacts in our database (Sumac)
  5. Coordinate the planning and logistics for our networking events
  6. Represent ANNISAA on working groups and in the activities, trainings and events organized by our partners
  7. Collaborate with the evaluation consultant to develop measurement tools and methods for evaluating the impact of our national network activities
  8. Participate in the ongoing strategy development and restructuration of the organization
  9. Support fundraising activities and sustainable development of the organization
  10. Other duties as required

Accounting Coordinator/Bookkeeper
Core Team Position, 5-10 hours/month ( may increase as needed)

The Accounting Coordinator/Bookkeeper maintains all appropriate records, files and processes to ensure the smooth and compliant financial operation of the organization, with a focus on accuracy and transparency. This includes processing and monitoring donations, grant payments, expenditures and preparing annual financial reports.

  1. Perform periodic processing of all bookkeeping transactions
  2. Prepare and post monthly Journal Entries to the General Ledger
  3. Maintain financial records and filing
  4. Monitor cash flow and cash management
  5. Assist in all functions pertaining to year-end closing and annual audit
  6. Post GST considering the allocation of the refundable portion
  7. Post and maintain records for taxable benefits
